How do I open an account?

Click "Open Account" at the top of any page. The application takes about 15 minutes and you can fund your account immediately after approval.

What is the minimum deposit?

There is no minimum deposit required for individual IBKR LITE accounts. Some account types and trading permissions may have requirements.

How long does account approval take?

Most accounts are approved within 1–3 business days after submitting all required documents.

How do I reset my password?

Is my money protected?
